Army Wife ? Army Girlfriend?Army Love? What is so special about it? Why so much hype around this word ‘Army Love’? Well nobody heard Politician love, IAS love, IPS love neither there is a term to define women who have married or in love with a banker, farmer, minister or etc. But then how come women in love with soldiers are distinctly categorised? Don’t you think It would be tough to be a kind of woman who constantly loves a man whose job is to protect the country and whose distraction may costs lives or sometimes freedom of the country? Don’t you think such women who in spite of crying out loud every night of separation for months yet have courage to say to their soldier ” Hey, I am fine. Kids are fine. Absolutely everything smooth and fun. You just keep yourself safe and focussed and come back soon.” Oops special kind of courage! They help keep alive the principles of freedom and support the values their country stand for. They play a very important part in shaping up the future of their country and help their soldiers to stand firmly on borders without distractions. While her soldier is busy protecting the country she looks after his family, his parents, his kids while giving her own to the country. So don’t you think we need to salute these special kind of women and categorise them as ‘Army wife’ or ‘Army Girlfriend’? My post is dedicated to this extraordinary lot of women.

Well I don’t agree here…they hv great time only when they get to live with their hubbies (provided their hubbies r not field,glaciar or mountain posted).. just like other services…servants n orderlies r wrong terms to be used..helpers r the specific term n they don’t get it while their hubbies r on courses or field posted. They need help at the peace postings coz of the various engagements (army establishments,visiting families of jawans n solving their problems,welfare centers,education centers n etc) n all without being paid. A lesser ngo with a specific need would pay. It’s all voluntary n these army wives r normal girls out of society may b doctors,engineers, ips n ias officers too…I recently intervw ed an army wife who is a dsp city. She takes pride in being an army wife. …i hv met army wives who hv spent 16 yrs without their husbands out of 25 yrs of their marriage. Risk is high facilities r nil.there hv been cantt where terrorists have entered n threw children out of the windows. N a wife an army wife deals with all n let her hubby work peacefully. She deserves every facility on the planet with respect.if she knows how to hv fun n put on best make up or clothes thas her confidence. ..y envy…N every soldier is a good soldier he earned his uniform…even crystal is not perfect…humans r not suppose to be perfect…but army is the only organisations which creates perfection out of imperfection….respect it n respect the families…don’t envy

I don’t envy anyone ,this is true that soldiers have tough time when at border areas ,glaciers etc ,but they have best of facilities , I don’t think so nation compromise on their facilities ,defence budget is highest of all the other allocated fields , I know about AFWA, AWA, etc ,I spent half of my life in cantt area only ,I pàssed out from air force school ,mother was head mistress there ,all her colleagues were armed forces personals wives , interacted with them a lot .
Regarding every soldier is a good soldier I don’t agree , we have many corrupt officers few I mentioned earlier but its OK psychology says being human its natural to get corrupt depending on ethics ,but overall armed forces are relatively far better than other spheres of life .

See ajay being in a cantt. Area n having army fnds than being one serving or their family is a different thing. Thas y I said half knowledge is a dangerous knowledge. Best of facilities. .u r saying coz yr comparing it with the facilities u have got….but if u ll compare our armed forces with countries much smaller than ours n their budget which they spend even when their forces hardly ever fight then u ll b ashamed that our forces r getting r peanuts. The allocation of budget to armed forces also signifies power of the country….N I m really wondering that ur mom was appointed head mistress( which just shows fairness of army )n fnds wit army wives….than too u held such opinions about army wives that they play cards do nothing…its very strange. N also u studied from army school ur mom was employed by army n still u hold such opinions n talk bad bout the army wives n soldiers on public forum…..It speaks a lot about u as a person…

I haven’t spoken bad about soldiers ,I only told truth what I saw ,I always rated soldiers very high , I served in merchant navy , I always advocated army rule ,anyways ,we are not on same wavelength ,you couldn’t get my point its OK ,nice sharing our views ,all the best for future .
