10 Feb 2018 is when Sunjwan terror attacks happened. Most of you know these gates of Sunjwan military station, a viral pic since the attacks happened but today I want to take you behind these gates. You only recognise #Sunjwan as a terror hit target where some military people were killed by JeM fidyaeens but it is more than that. This cantonment has heart and emotions as well. I will show you life behind these gates before the terror attacks happened. The park where our kids played, the families of jawans who lived just beside officers families and the bond we shared. Little laughters over a cup of tea were common. The lanes where I along with many mothers went on pram rides with our kids and the same lanes where our kids started to walk. We have celebrated holi, karwa chauth, Eid and Christmas in the same Sunjwan cantonment which you would have thought of just being a military station with army patrolling with gun.
