Never do skydiving just because you saw some military guys jumping off the plane and found it fancy or one of your friends could do it. There are at least fifty failed stories over one successful skydiving stint. There is a reason why skydiving is called an extreme sport and why they make you sign the waiver where they don’t take responsibility for your life. This sport is also one of the most expensive sports in the world. The actual cost alone for a basic skydiving course which is quoted at 3.5 lakh to 4 lahks (AFF-A license) in reality might range from 6lakh to 10 lakh depending on the number of repeat jumps or tandem jumps you take. There are many other grey areas like skydiving agents on whom you depend for your skydiving courses in foreign lands (many of them military veterans) might dupe you of money by many means. Saying this many are giving this sport a shot, so the idea behind this post is to make you aware so that you make better decisions and make decisions away from biases. I would also suggest to take tandem jumps @skyhighindia before embarking on skydive courses. It will save you a lot of money. Do read the blog over it.
