Fairytales have come true with the five day long wedding extravaganza of the actress Priyanka Chopra and American Pop star Nick Jonas. The complete wedding ceremonies following Christian and Hindu traditions were kept away from the glares of paparazzi and only closed friends and family were invited for their weddings in Jodhpur at Umaid Bhawan palace.The Delhi reception at hotel Taj Mahal palace was more welcoming to media. The bride and groom even posed before media and the occasion was alo graced by the presence of Prime minister Modi. Bride Priyanka Chopra walked down the aisle in bespoke Ralph Lauren gown, which took a total of 1,826 hours to complete and featured two million mother of pearl sequins and a 75 feet long veil ,with her groom, matching in a suit from the same US designer. On Sunday, for hindu wedding rituals the bride chose a deep red lehenga. The idea was to highlight both the bachgrounds of the bride and groom. The wedding lehenga of Priyanka Chopra was created by noted designer Sabyasachi Mukherji who has also created wedding attires for Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh Wedding. Though Priyanka wedding lehenga was with a little western twist unlike Deepika Padukone’s wedding lehenga. Priyanka said to People Magazine

‘Every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day,’ ‘But I never had a plan about what I wanted it to be.’ ‘It melted my heart, ‘Being able to have two big weddings, in India, with our closest family and friends was unbelievably special.’It was all tears. All tears, ‘I could not hold it in. I think I was nervous and scared.’But as soon as the curtains opened, and I saw his face it was just like everything settled and I knew I was making the best decision of my life.’

Nick said

‘The emotions were running high during the ceremonies, I think especially during the Western wedding for me.’You know you think your whole life about that moment. Honestly, I could not have imagined it would be as perfect as it was. It was highly emotional.’
