I am not very fond of carrying too many jeans  or trousers for short trips especially if it is not an official trip. So the best bid is to carry a multifunctional pair of leggings which can act as a jeans to really diversified piece of pants which goes from Indian wear to western ones easily. If you wear shorts you can also carry a pair of shorts which will rise up being your saviour if your plans suddenly change and you decide to hit the beach, disc or simply have fun in the jungle.

The ‘Only’ patch work  legging is mostly cotton and lycra that I bought for some Rs2600 and this Deal Jeans High waisted Hot pants were for Rs 1500 .

Packing shoes for a short trip could be real pain. Carrying one pair of shoes is really boring and honestly tacky! Whereas taking too many shoes which occupies too much space in your small suitcase is uncalled for! So what you can do is that you can follow one heel and one flat formula for your short trip vacation. Heels to be there for your party mood and flats to be there for everything else and every type of dress. Flats could be of your choice ranging from sneakers to flip flops to a ballet shoes.

This black embellished stilettos is from Paprika for Rs2500 and this stunning golden embellished ballets are for Rs800 from a local shop in jammu called first step.

The accessories part should strictly stick to ‘keep the basics only. Now you can’t do without a watch and shades on vacation so try not to forget keeping it in your purse then keep travel size bottles of your basic things. I normally use foundations and moisturisers but during vacations I prefer to keep a the best in business BB cream and a 50ml bottle of my favourite perfume. The lip balm act as lipstick and also keep my lips moisturised. One statement piece to go with every dress and a few safety pins and hair bands. I keep all these goodies into a separate pouch.

The Chanel Coco Mademoiselle 50 ml bottle( Rs 8890) and La Rosey Posey BB cream (Rs 1600) which compensates for moisturiser, sunscreen and a foundation all was gifted to me by my brother from Europe.

Atlast there should always be a light weighted purse to be your best friend during your vacations. The best approach is to carry small plastic pouches and categorise things into them. Like basic medicine into one. The basic cosmetics into one. The other accessories or wipes into one sort off. Also you should have a small money bag to accommodate your money,Visa,Tickets etc with you to keep you off from any headache later on.
